I need to know the maximum likely number of people to attend

Our Tyzack anniversary cocktail party is scheduled for Saturday 8th October and our family BBQ is planned for Sunday 9th October.

I am concerned that our venue may not be big enough for each of these two events.

Therefore I need to know if you, your partner/spouse (if you have one), and your children (even if they no longer live with you) hope and want to come.

I want to know the biggest possible number so I can check whether such a number of people will fit into the venue.

PLEASE – I want you to list the names of all your family members including yourself who hope to come to the Cocktail Party, and then to the BBQ (two different sized spaces at our venue).

This list is your best wish list and does not commit you to coming – I will need those firmer commitments at the beginning of September.  I know that between now and the anniversary events in October, your life circumstances might change and even though you want to come, you may not be able to do so.  Therefore, the number you give me now won’t be the final number.

I know I am asking a lot from you, but it would be awful if people turned up from Queensland, Bendigo, Northern Territory or from anywhere across Melbourne, etc,etc and there was no room to enter.

Please send me an email as soon as possible with all the names of the people who have the intention of/plan to/would like to/have an interest in coming to one or both events.

Because of the support I have received while compiling the Tyzack anniversary book it seems as if lots of family members are hoping to come to one or both events. I know some non-Victorian residents, like me, have already booked their flights and accommodation which definitely tells me they are coming. However, I cannot figure out what the maximum number of attendees will be – so I need your help.

I have emailed many family members but there are more whose email address I do not have, so I will be sending a snail mail letter to them asking them for help as well. You can help reduce my postage costs by checking with every family member you know and adding their names to the list (it will not matter if there is doubling up – I can sort out any duplication). I will start sending out letters in a week’s time so if you can help before then I will be very appreciative.
